Cait Brown and I have been waiting months and months for this trailer.  I’ve loved Carey Mulligan since I saw her in An Education, and I’ve always loved Leonardo DiCaprio’s roles. With Tobey Maguire to finish out the stunning cast, this movie should be magnificent.  It’s been a while since a brilliant piece of literature was turned into a brilliant piece of film.  Cait, I believe we have a date this Christmas…

The A5 had been undergoing some tests up at the Lake last week both Thursday and Friday.  I asked if I could tag along on Sunday, and they were more than happy to have me there to help.  I showed up at ICON at 5:30am Sunday to help prep the plane, make some last minute modifications, and load the truck.  It took a bit longer than we thought it would, but we finished up and made it to the lake around 10:30.  A few of the LA guys were already up there, and Jon (who had flown the A5 up) had landed about 30 minutes earlier.  

We set up our stuff, and Kirk decided he wanted to have a paintball ‘fight’.  He put on a wetsuit and a dirtbike helmet and jumped on a jetski.  He challenged everyone on shore to shoot at him!  He got hit pretty badly, but not as badly as Brad when he tried it out.  He got a paintball right to the lip!

Anyways, between the jetskis, speedboat and A5… the day of testing was pretty exciting.  It was a very hot and long day, but we got some valuable information from the trip.  That, and Kirk got to do a lot of flying.  He flies that thing like a madman.  I hope I get to fly an A5 one day, MAN those things look like fun!
